Single Cell Imaging

“We have specialised expertise in advanced microscopy techniques to investigate compound binding and signalling pharmacology in single living or fixed cells.”

These approaches are invaluable in situations where cells of interest are rare or present in heterogeneous populations.

Live cell imaging techniques:

  • Confocal imaging – high resolution imaging to measure ligand binding, determine subcellular localisation, co-localisation or protein translocation
  • Perfusion system – real-time monitoring of kinetic binding and signalling events using fluorescent biosensors
  • FCS – single molecule detection system to allow investigation of binding events in subcellular microdomains
