Dr Steve Briddon

Steve Briddon joined Excellerate in 2025 with over 30 years' experience in molecular pharmacology with a particular expertise in receptor pharmacology and cell signalling. He has broad expertise in quantitative pharmacology, biophysical techniques and advanced imaging. He has been involved in several collaborations with the drug discovery industry including the EU Kinetics for Drug Discovery programme, the Oncogenic GPCR Network of Excellence and Training and several SMEs. He is a Fellow of both the British Pharmacological Society and the Royal Microscopical Society and continues his academic work part-time at the University of Nottingham, researching the spatial pharmacology of receptors through advanced imaging techniques and fluorescent technologies.
